2. Hosting, server logs and web application firewall

This website is hosted by SHG IT-Solutions GmbH on systems located in a data centre in Germany. The website is additionally protected by a web application firewall (WAF) operated by SHG IT-Solutions GmbH.

When this website is accessed, technical connection data is processed by the web server and the upstream web application firewall. This may include the IP address of the requesting device, date and time of access, requested resource, referrer information, browser and user-agent information, HTTP status and other technical connection data.

This processing is carried out in order to provide the website securely and reliably, detect and prevent attacks or misuse, diagnose technical problems and protect the underlying IT infrastructure.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest consists in the secure, stable and abuse-resistant operation of the website and its technical infrastructure.

Server and WAF log data is generally retained for 30 days and then deleted. Longer retention may take place in individual cases where this is necessary to investigate a security incident or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

SHG IT-Solutions GmbH may process this data as a technical service provider on behalf of the controller.

3. Contact by email

If you contact LF Customs by email, the information you provide is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any related communication. This may include your email address, your name, the contents of your message and any additional information or attachments provided by you.

Email communication is processed using Microsoft 365.

If your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest consists in responding to enquiries and communicating with interested persons.

Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle the respective enquiry. Longer retention may apply where statutory retention obligations exist or where the information is required for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Microsoft and its subprocessors may process personal data in connection with the provision of Microsoft 365. Depending on the respective service and processing operation, data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law are used for such transfers.

4. Instagram link

This website only contains a normal external link to the Instagram profile @f87drives. No Instagram feed, tracking pixel or social-media plugin is embedded on this website.

No data is transmitted to Instagram simply by visiting this website. Data is only transferred to Instagram when you actively follow the external link. From that point onwards, the data protection provisions of the respective provider apply.

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

This website currently does not use analytics or advertising technologies and does not set non-essential cookies.

No browser-based tracking using cookies, local storage or comparable technologies is currently used. If technologies requiring consent are introduced in the future, this privacy policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
